Can not compile SilverContrib with SL 4 (VS 2010 beta2)

Feb 2, 2010 at 3:42 PM

Hi all,

I tried to compile SilverContrib Library with SL 4 (beta) but I could not. Two methods Directory.GetDirectories and Directory.GetFiles in file FileSystemScanner (IO->Compression->Zip->Core) could not be found by the compiler. That was quite strange, because these two methods are still offered by mscorlib.dll (version 4). If I changed to SL 3, it worked well.

Could someone help me to over this problem of compiling?

Thank you so much.

Steven.

this is Silverlight 4 security stuff. It is very strange about IO stuff.

You need to run as a trusted OOB. And then it won't give you access to lots of file system areas.

The library has recently been recompiled for SL4.  It should work now.
